Sparkles by Erin mom x me bracelets are made of high-quality materials by hand in the Philippines. These are made with either gold-filled beads, acrylic crystals and semi-precious stones. The wires, chains and clasps we use are optional gold plated or 10k gold filled.
Gold filled is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating.
This bracelet can be worn day and night, looks great stacked with other bracelets and if you get the 10k filled wire, clasps and chain, it will be a great heirloom piece to cherish for years to come.
The chain has three extra loops you can clasp onto and is made to grow with your little one so you can size it specifically to his or her wrist.
★ How to care for gold filled bracelet
A gold filled jewelry is cared for in the same manner as other precious jewelry. The absolutely best thing you can do for your bracelet is to clean it regularly using a little bit of warm water, and a soft cloth to dry and shine after. Many chemicals marketed for cleaning jewelry are actually somewhat abrasive or corrosive and can cause some damage or color alteration to your jewelry. The best way to avoid this is to keep it simple. Warm water and a soft cloth are the best things you can apply to maintain the beauty of your jewelry.
★ How long will my gold filled bracelet last?
Under normal wearing conditions and with proper care, your gold filled bracelet can last a lifetime. It does not chip or peel easily as gold plated jewelry does. Heavy wear and rough conditions will, of course, impact how your jewelry looks. This is true no matter what your jewelry is made of.
★ Things to avoid with your bracelet
To maintain the beauty of your bracelet, whether it is gold filled or gold plated, salt water, chlorine (swimming pools) and all heavy detergents and cleaning agents should be avoided.
